What to do with Fox carcasses?

What does everyone do with their fox carcases? Is there anywhere that will take them for pelts in the UK (I'm in Scotland, Ayrshire) ? I've started shooting them with the 17hmr and it doesn't make a mess of them like the 22-250 so they would be useable if skinned. Sometimes feel a bit guilty chucking them in the hedge when most everything else I shoot gets used, be it table or dog bowl. And before it's suggested I'm not keen on eating them, might feed it to the kids though see what they think 🤔

My unfortunates go back to the farm slurry pond / dung heap / bonfire, I leave them at the next nearest gateway from where shot, they get chucked in the mule when on the rounds.
To be fair it's the tidiest & cleanest farm I ever walked over, unlike some.

The taxidermy groups are always looking for good fox capes If you can be bothered learning on skinning them? otherwise people do buy the raw heads for the skulls, a £5 for them isn't unheard off. (not bad for lobbing them off and tossing in the freezer until there's 20 or so) It pays for the bullet at least.

I used to have a modern day cavewoman, who took all my pelts to make a prehistoric style winter coat, which she later wore in winter in Canada. Must say she did a great job of it.
Now they just go in the ditch/hedge.
Did see an advert somewhere the other day stating £20 per head shot fox

I got contacted by a vet school in london i think, they wanted the carcasses for training vets, put them on to 2 keepers, im sure it was about £20 a fox and they collected them.
More than they get for roe deer so winner all round
