What to do with Fox carcasses?

Hiya John

Please can you add tuition for skinning wild dogs and foxes in a couple of minutes, to my trap-setting for dogs please?

Listened to a Meateater podcast where Steve described his trichinosis experience, definitely not on my to do list
As far as i am aware it was never found in the foxes or wild boars tested in uk.
Medium rare pork still sounds dodgy though. But ive eaten raw pork mince in germany

I shot s vixen once that was carrying off half a dog fox carcass I’d shot two days before.
I have shot the odd fox tucking into its fallen comrade but 90% of the ones I shoot and pop in the hedge are usually still intact in 4-6 months time just missing what the maggots have had…

There is a famous case of farmer, who very much loved his deer stalking and wildlife corners, who had invited a local wildlife club / society to have a walk around all his woods and ponds.

A week before the event he had shot a Fox and this was sent to the local smokery run by a cousin or nephew.

A light lunch of thinly sliced local smoked meats was served which they all loved.
