QuickLoad favour re. 222

Evening guys, my .222 is currently fed on 40gn varmageddons over a charge of N120 which groups really well. I’m about out of N120 and 40 grain bullets. However my local shop has a good supply of N130 and a full range of RS powders. I have several hundred 50grain Vmax to hand so would like to make use of them for obvious reasons. Would anyone be kind enough to run some QuickLoad figures on the 50 grain Vmax with N130, RS40 and maybe RS36 if anyone’s feeling generous! Please note 16” barrel.

ATB,

Snacker.

i use 50gr Nosler BT OVER 130 I will send you my accuracy load for a .222 Steyr PRO HUNTERIT MAY WORK FOR YOU

Not QL but I use Gordon’s Reloading - on par in most areas. At 21° it puts a 50gr Vmax in front of 21.5gr N130 at 50k psi, 2950 ft/s. 8.88mm bullet seating depth, 28.2gr H2O case capacity (can’t remember if I measured my 222, I think this is default)
RS40 23.4gr 2990ft/s 50.5k psi but has a low burn rate and increased error warning. This may be a compressed load
RS36 18.8gr 2944 ft/s 50.5k psi
Based on the similar burn rate to our ADI 2207 which is legendary for across the board accuracy in 222 I’d pick the RS36 to start with
