Give them a bell before you go , they might have what you need but not necessarily in the one shop. But they'll do their best to accommodate if they can.

I had a Browning T bolt that I never should have sold and a T1x that I never will sell! Mate has a couple of CZs and I don’t see anything wrong with them. I do prefer the tikka mag though!

I have the t1x in 17hmr and it’s not a nice rifle to shoot. I’m not a fan of the t1x action despite it being accurate. If I were doing it again, I’d go with the cz

Agree…. Out of the box mine wasn’t comfy at all and the trigger was a bit heavy… dropped it into a supervarmint stock with the adjustable cheek piece and put in a lighter trigger spring. Made it into a much better rifle. The fenris stock change improved that again but not everyone wants to play that way… I get that some folks want it straight from the box… but I wouldn’t swap it now.

If one buys a rifle and immediately has to start changing pieces it was the wrong rifle to buy in the first place.

You won't go wrong with any of those 3 so just go and look at them and pick the one you like best.
I bought the tikka and wouldn't change it.
My intentions were to put it into a krg bravo chassis so it was a choice between the tikka and cz.

After struggling with my HW60 j in .17 hmr, and the 4 shot mag's. I've reluctantly conceded defeat.
I'm now on the lookout for a replacement, but said replacement MUST have a 10 shot mag, or at least be able to buy one.
I have 3 rifles in mind, so looking for good and bad reports on the three please guys.
1, Tikka T1X.
2, Bergara BMR.
3, CZ 457.
It'll be a hunting rifle, so will probably have a shortish barrel.
Help an old fart out guys.

I loved playing with the Bergara on a recent video with @rmacleodsandson it was a lovely little rifle and I think they still have cheap package prices going.

I use the CZ455 and I love it BUT I am hearing the 457 is not as great and I am toying with getting a Tikka T1 or Bergara at some point but most likely the bergara as you can adjust the trigger to Very light lol

They do a 16" barrel from the factory, you can always have them shortened, I had my 20" barrel shortened to 15.5"

My advice would be CZ 457 I should’ve gone that way myself , specially after buying 457 .22lr

Every now and then I give the inside of the mag a good shot of silicone spray… keeps them running sweet….

It’s well documented that the mags are bobbins.
If i had my time again i’d buy the CZ.
