Ok so finally I am about to finish the last one on the order list. Thank you everyone for the various orders. If anyone has missed out and would like one, I will accept a handful more orders in the next 3 days and then everything is being packed away again for a bit I think. Cheers.
Like a bad smell (or quite a nice leathery smell) these vegetable tanned leather ammo sleeves are back for a while. Got half a cow here of chocolate veg tan in a nice supple workable leather, so here we are again with these handmade items which silently hold your cartridges in a slim little sleeve that sits flush in your pocket without rattling about.
Usual fare. This is 2mm quality vegtable tanned leather which smells good. They are hand cut, saddle stitched by hand with edges being sanded and burnished for a nice feel and longevity. Below is an example of what they look like. You can have the orange thread if you like or there is a brown thread which would be less striking. I have greys and blues and teal and lime greens and god knows what colours but this leather is a dark brown, so I would say the orange or brown is likely best for contrast but you can have what you want. I will basically make them to order.
Cartridge wise you can have what you like within reason. Small will take stuff like .222rem, .223, .204r etc. Medium will take .308win parent case type stuff like .243, 6.5CM, .308, 7mm08 etc and the large variant will take .30-06 parent case stuff like .25-06, .270win etc.
Everything has gone up in the world from postage, jiffy bags, leather, sand paper and other consumables I use. I've tried to keep them as cheap as poss, so £23.50 is the price delivered in the UK. Not sure how long I will do them for. Probably for November and maybe a bit in to December. Got more time in the evenings now the clocks have gone back.
