Boots ,,, of the Cowboy persuasion

Well I've just looked at the Ariat site and mostly they look like normal Chelsea boots on steroids. Not too out of the ordinary really. I wouldn't say no to wearing them although it's not really my thing. Now if I had a horse and rode it, I think I could go full cowboy in the footwear department. But probably only when riding. Or in the bedroom with a lasso. As for Wranglers, they ain't so different from any other jeans and I do have a pair or two lurking in the wardrobe. In fact, there's also a jean jacket in there too, so I could go full 1980s and do double denim. If I had a Delorean.

Double denim ... Less Marty McFly, more Wham!

An English friend in Texas sent me these for Christmas in return for a favour, "ranch boots" hence rubber sole rather than "dress". Worn them pretty much every day since. Gave up on RM Williams as my last pair wore out so quickly, these feel really solid...and my 24 year old daughter thinks they are cool....which is a first for my wardrobe!IMG_9658.webpIMG_9302.webpIMG_9301.webp

Chisel toe eh,these have a chisel toe also.

I have a pair of winkle pickers like the ones above, but these days I only wear them when riding the bikes for protection.

Not practical for working around the property or walking the dog on our rough track, I find the LIDL steel toed work boots very comfortable and hard wearing. I always have a new pair in the workshop ready for when the current ones wear out.

When people put these on, who do they think looks better, them or their boyfriend?
Those finger loops aren't for pulling them on 🤣

In all seriousness my wife took the **** when I started looking at them. When she saw me wearing a pair, she said she's changed her mind and they look really good. Mine are just brown leather mind
