Hi,

How do the 635's compare with the Habrok hq35 please

How do you focus image on thermal and optical channel?
I can see small wheel at the middle of the body.
Is it used to navigate menu, or focus image?

Thank you.

A real good point for me is the fact the themal channel is on the left hand side, as the bulk of use for me anyway is utilising the thermal channel . So being a right hander the left side falls easiest to hand for adjustment...

What are the disadvantages of 35mm lenses over 50mm?
35mm lower priced, better field of view.

This wasn't so much of an issue with 17micron sensors, but 12micron sensors further reduce field of view, jumping upto 50mm from 35mm gains you detection range but you lose FOV, not ideal for close range or scanning larger areas quicker...

The only option that retains FOV, Resolution and Allows a larger lens, is jumping to 1080 or 1280 sensor options... These bring the best of everything together...

For me 35mm 640 12um is the sweet spot for price and allround use.

So honestly, how do these compare to habrocks? I’m seriously tempted as mates has a pair of 50mm habrocks and they are stunning! If these are almost as good for this price I’d be keen to give a set a go.
