Man who converted staple gun into firearm jailed
Jamie Young, from Longfield near Dartford, filmed himself testing the fire power of the weapon in a field.
or legalise drugs, war on drugs costs money and is failing year on year, let boots sell drugs to people that want them.Petty drug dealer trying to intimidate other petty drug dealers when they come to rob him, or he tries to rob them... what has this country become... build more prisons, with one-way doors.

and the money to crack down is coming from where?'We're doing badly so let's just give up'
Nope. I am sick to the back teeth of the smell of weed from next door. In summer we often can't have our windows open because if it, being outside in nice weather is often tainted by the smell and occasionally it seems to come through the walls. Then there are the times, usually at least weekly, when I'm driving (+/- kids in the car) and some wazzock or other, often in a van is smoking and driving because it comes in through the vents. The last thing is want is those people and others being emboldened to do it more- it's antisocial and a risk to others. And that's just weed. There needs to be a culture change and it be cracked down on more.
Yup, I agree entirely, sick fed up of it being stinking of weed when in the city centres - it almost always leads to other issues.'We're doing badly so let's just give up'

rapes assults and murders affect other by there actions, drug use doesnt, drug dealers and gangs may well do, drug adicts might steal and rob to fund an addiction.Yup, I agree entirely, sick fed up of it being stinking of weed when in the city centres - it almost always leads to other issues.
Where the money comes from to deal with it? How about the highest rates of tax in Europe that we pay? There would be plenty of funding to cover this of it wasn’t wasted on numerous wastes of time such as DEI and persons who pay zero into the system receiving benefits.
I guess rapes, assaults and Murders cost a lot to investigate so I guess we should make those legal too?
Drug misuse are a huge contributor to the crime levels in all countries - when you prevent the flow and use of drugs you usually find crime rates dramatically drop right after that. The USA are building an extremely compelling case for this at the moment!
It’s not just the smell, although personally I find it sickly & repulsive - if you are smelling it then you are inhaling, a bit like passive smoking.and the money to crack down is coming from where?
should all offensive smells be banned?
You really think drug misuse doesn’t lead to affects on others? I think most of us will have been, or know someone that has been robbed by a junkie trying to cover their next fix, sure that isn’t usually weed - but plenty have started on weed and moved onto the next drug.rapes assults and murders affect other by there actions, drug use doesnt, drug dealers and gangs may well do, drug adicts might steal and rob to fund an addiction.
take away the crime of drug use, gangs wont have revenue.
is a teenager smoking weed any worse than drinking?
hasnt portugal decriminilised drug use and seen a drop in issues?
still not sure why an offensive smell should matter
So having your wife/mother/child killed by a drug driver wouldn’t affect you then???rapes assults and murders affect other by there actions, drug use doesnt, drug dealers and gangs may well do, drug adicts might steal and rob to fund an addiction.

be about the same as drink driving, drug use and alcohol consumption arnt that different,So having your wife/mother/child killed by a drug driver wouldn’t affect you then???
But your post specifically said drug use doesn’t affect you…be about the same as drink driving, drug use and alcohol consumption arnt that different,
It's a mind altering substance, taken for that very reason, not just an offensive smell.and the money to crack down is coming from where?
should all offensive smells be banned?
I just gave two examples whereas drug use does affect others. Drug driving puts others at risk and my children and I are being forcibly exposed to a controlled substance by virtue of our neighbours. It's antisocial.rapes assults and murders affect other by there actions, drug use doesnt, drug dealers and gangs may well do, drug adicts might steal and rob to fund an addiction.

the act of using the drug doesnt affect others, abuse of any drug(including alcohol) of course can affect others. You really think drug misuse doesn’t lead to affects on others? I think most of us will have been, or know someone that has been robbed by a junkie trying to cover their next fix, sure that isn’t usually weed - but plenty have started on weed and moved onto the next drug.
Also, the surge in driving under the influence shows the absolute risk to other people, drunk driving has given way to drug driving now.
Ignoring it and allowing them to continue is not the way to go.
Legalising it doesn't get round the drug driving issue or others being forcibly exposed to it against their will. If anything it will increase those. Plus documented health risks of using it which will increase in prevalence as legalisation will lead to increased use.Bit of a diversion from OP, but … why not take the Portugal route… legalize all drugs and tax the living **** out of it? Gets rid of illegal suppliers which reduces violence, Turkish barber, vape shops, illegal immigrants etc etc, PLUS QC means that overdoses are less likely, PLUS mental health drug users can get the help they need, PLUS voluntary users can pick up the tab (sorry) as other drug users (alcohol, smokers) do…
No reason not to, except it will hurt illegals more than anyone and they are Sir Keimit Stalin (sorry ‘Starmer’) best friends (other than Ukrainians and his endless supply of rent boys)
I can't agree with you on the drug issue. Legalising it won't stop the illegal dealers, there is too much money to be made.or legalise drugs, war on drugs costs money and is failing year on year, let boots sell drugs to people that want them.
