I did a driven hunt yesterday and shot a roe, one of the jagdhorn players who is also English wanted to come with me as he is not a hunter to see how they do it, so I had agreed to it.
He is though a camera nutter and took many pics and because he also has me on his FB account where he posts every day what meal, what beer he has had etc even though he is almost 60, its all kids stuff to me, now he has now posted various pics of that hunt including a close up of my face with adding my name and what I had shot. All this without asking my permission.
Advice on what to do please I expect PETA to be stabbing my tyres soon.

Ask him to remove them. I have a mate who does this as well and I have had to have a pretty stern word with him about tagging me and posting pictures of me on social media. It's not on and they need to be made aware of that fact.

Here is the posts verbiage.
Impressions of my first Battue (“drive hunt” / “Drückjagd”)
It was Interesting to see and I was lucky enough to be with one of the few hunters that had a kill. Well done Martin.
The hunt was successful, however for obvious reasons I haven’t posted any pictures of the “quarry” (4 boar - 6 deer - 1 fox)
Has it inspired me to get a hunting license? No, however I will most likely join a hunt again as an observer.

Not too excessive, I would politely have a word asking him to remove you from the post etc.

you can put it in your settings that you must approve photos you are tagged in

a quick word with him should suffice though i would have thought

I should add I only had a stern word because he kept doing it after I initially told him not to. Asking nicely is the best way to start.

Btw that was great for you to invite him along and show him what it’s all about. It’s important we all do that, sorry about the world wide media though!

the photo is out there so any one interested will have seen it BUT being fb it will soon be overlooked for the next be of bling/fashion.

Cannot see your problem, noth8ng at all contentious in his comments but if you are bothered ask him to remove your name and un tag yourself,

Well done for introducing a non hunter to a day in to a day in the field with some success by the sounds of it.

You'll probably find that he'll be mortified that you feel such a way and will likely be hugely apologetic.

I would try to not let it taint your experience with him - he's clearly proud enough of his time with you that he's decided to post it on social media so worth just chalking down to his inexperience in this world.

Why not just black out ur eyes, on the photos of u with a superimposed large black bar, like Andy mcnab in his novels. Remaining unidentifiable.

[In response to now deleted post above]

You've also just identified yourself and your location on here. Which is an open forum that anyone can access.
So you are doing exactly what you're asking others not to do.
