Anti-slip/anti--mould for concrete

I've a south-facing ramp leading up to my hay store that repeatedly suffers from a build up of green algae/mould. It's not so bad when dry, but when it's wet it's absolutely treacherous. Anyone have any suggestions as to a product I could use that would prevent it building up? I've powerwashed it, but it doesn't take long to reappear 🤔

I am pretty sure I have read that sprinkling washing powder onto the surface will get rid of mould. It just needs to be sprinkled dry and left to do its work.

Fisherman up here use a diluted bleach mixture to deal with algae on piers, not sure about the environmental situation associated with using this.

Google says :- First scrub loose growth, then apply a solution like 50/50 bleach/water, white vinegar/water, or a detergent mixture, let it sit to break down the algae, scrub again, and rinse thoroughly, using a pressure washer for tough spots but cautiously, and always wear protective gear like goggles. For prevention, improve drainage and airflow by trimming plants and clearing debris, as algae thrives in damp, shaded spots.

On going battle if live adjacent to trees or aa wood ....kennel pad which is concrete gets mould...I only power wash as unsure if patio magic or like was ok for dogs paws

I use ‘Wet and Forget’ and find it very good. Even on roof tiles. Think it’s on offer in Costco this week if that’s any use to you

Perfect! Many thanks 😃👍
We and forget is good and not overly toxic runoff (but obviously not directly into watercourses) reapply quarterly and you won't have a problem for a good while

Ideal solution would be cut some channels for permanent grip. Or install a metal grid

Watco do a range of anti slip external concrete floor paints which are magic in their strength and adhesion but do rely on a good primed base
Asphalt anti slip is very good indeed
