Hi.
My shooting mate has 2 x S20. One in 6.5prc and the other in 6.5 Creedmoor. They are both performing flawlessly, and are very accurate. I may have been tempted if they offered one in left hand and .22 Creedmoor.

I’ll second this comment, bought mine secondhand but essentially brand new with only 24 rounds through it ( reportedly ) thing was fresh out the wrapper, never had any mag issues or bolt issues and is very accurate the only weak point is me . It’s out in all weather and no problem . I used to clean it religiously after every shot but now I only use a bore snake and clean the exterior and chamber etc . It just works, have total confidence in it .

No feeding or rattling issues with mine - best rifle I've ever owned
Maybe a tad heavier than ideal, but as mine is chambered 6.5PRC the wee bit of extra weight seems like an advantage to me as it tames the recoil (not that a 6.5PRC is a kicker anyway)
I can easily keep sight on target out to 200m or maybe a bit further

I recently fitted my Alpex 4k LRF to the S20 in preparation for a DMQ NSC - didn't use it in the end as I was getting variable shot placement. However, the rounds I was using then were the first reloads of my 130gr TTSX load in US NAS stainless steel cases rather than my usual reloaded Lapua cases (courtesty of @Mountain Bug). What really ****ed me off on that range shoot was that both 5-round and the 10-round mags wouldn't reliably feed. I put this down to the NAS cases but on going to the range again with this combo after lowering the mounts yesterday, I got the same result with Lapua reloaded cases, having to single feed all cartridges!

My mags are very old and probably from the first batches made which anecdotally do seem to be problematic. In a rash opening of the wallet last night, I splashed out on a new mag from a high volume mag outlet which should ensure it is recent stock. Waiting with interest to see if its an improvement. Over Christmas, I'll disassemble the original mags and will have a play. One of the 5-rounds has an aftermarket 3D-printed filler piece in it which was an early fix for misfeeding.

Have used one of these as an estate rifle in 308 a good few times and I never had an issue and they said it was bombproof and would shoot pretty much any ammo accurately without feed issue

Asked the distributor (GMK) about buying a new one and they are quoting 6months+ lead time

There’s a chap on FleaBay selling 3D printed Mag fix if you search Sako S20 Mag Fix it should come up .
As mentioned in my previous post never had any issues with mine, think the Deer on the ground do though….

@wytonpjs, did the new mag fix your feed problems? I have a very early S20 with the plastic insert to the mag, but it is still problematic, so wondering about a new magazine too. Cheers.
