Yes I am but need to find out how to get witnesses wbu?Are you looking to do your DSC2? I think it’s a great thing to work towards!
My advice to you is don't get caught with your pants downAfternoon all,
So, I’ve done my DSC1 and got insurance Etc got some land (I’ve been a farm worker most of my life so that but was easy) and I’ve had a cracking year learning the ropes.
What I would like to know is what is one bit of advice you would give me, someone new to the sport.
You need quite a bit of experience before considering DSC2, but when you're ready the BDS can do witnessed stalks on their land in Norfolk.Yes I am but need to find out how to get witnesses wbu?

I completed my DSC1 a couple of years ago and have been gaining lots of experience since then. I think I will look to enquire about the DSC2 this year sometime.Yes I am but need to find out how to get witnesses wbu?

Get a chiller as with the muntjac/roe/fallow (bucks) you will be shooting them in the warmer months also late into the 8-9.30pm times so they won't hang over night. Find a outlet as it will take a short time to fill the freezer, prepare for things to go wrong as it happens to all of us, muntjac are a good example as they are often on an angle and they keep moving which is green soup with them being so small.Afternoon all,

We have lots on muntjac on our land and always used to shoot them with .223 was ideal, tried .308 and 6.5 and it destroys them so I’ll stick the .223Get a chiller as with the muntjac/roe/fallow (bucks) you will be shooting them in the warmer months also late into the 8-9.30pm times so they won't hang over night. When I did my DSC1, we were advised don't even think about DSC2 until you've shot and gralloched a dozen deer on your own.How much Experience do you honestly think in needed![]()
.270 150gn head for all so when a fallow/red steps out it is an even match lolWe have lots on muntjac on our land and always used to shoot them with .223 was ideal, tried .308 and 6.5 and it destroys them so I’ll stick the .223
What do you use for MJ and CWD
Lots of people stalk Muntjac with .308 & 6.5 Creedmoor, it’s all about bullet placement. I generally stick to my .308 when out stalking as it allows me to shoot whichever species I come across, and what’s obviously in season. We have lots on muntjac on our land and always used to shoot them with .223 was ideal, tried .308 and 6.5 and it destroys them so I’ll stick the .223

Personally, I think it needs to be a lot more than that.
