My Jagdhorn seminar last weekend in Bavaria.

Breathing tricks, start of note reading.
All the teachers do the weekend for free the cost is only for organisation overnighting & food 190€ Saturday finished at 20:30 then everyone went into the bar which the last ones left at 3am, very Bavarian. There was a lady from Cincinnati Ohio attended the same as last year, she flies over just to do this seminar then flies home again. It is only 21kms from my house.
Some new complex tunes as many groups mine included will be competing against each other in Regensburg for the Bavarian finals on 20th June 2026.

One of the lads up on one of my local ranges makes a hell of a row with his one of these

For years I've wondered if I should buy a horn & have a go, just for my pleasure (but perhaps not that of the neighbours), however total lack of musical talent weighs me down.

For those who do fancy a go, all the requisites are here

Thomann Bb- Fürst Pless Horn Set
At those prices they have to be chinesium.
Dotzauer is a top maker who always comes to the seminars and big shows I have one of them, personal service is second nature to this family firm. One of our group just bought a second from him extra special as the wall thickness is only 0.4mm here is a Texan 14 years ago doing a video there.

I find it nice in a strange way that we go to all the local who have passed/died hunters and play Halali at their funerals it gets the tears rolling among the family then we all get to sit down at the wake of sorts with the family members for a Schweinebraten and Knodel type meal and a few beers, often the family come and thank us again for playing the final tribute.
