regarding the countries second national sport football i couldn't care less, if it's your bag then fine but please don't expect interest from me i'd rather watch an under tens rugby team play than a premiership football match

But the part that baffled me was multi day matches and 100 point deficits
No - but it boils my p1ss when the same game is being shown at prime time on both BBC 1 & ITV… FFS why!?

It seems that there aren't as many football fans that I had previously thought on SD...but then if England win the world cup they will come out of the woodwork ...like the Test cricket fans do lol.

I’m a Sheffield Wednesday fan.
We are currently in administration, so have received a points deduction, we are at present -7 which puts us 35 points away from the team above us.
Looking for a new owner, not sure what’s happening there. Frontrunner seems to be a pro poker player heading up a consortium of misfits.
Fire sale on players, as we need the cash, I think about 14 of our senior players gone in recent weeks. We are now down to youth players and a few loans that we have been allowed to bring in.
We are terrible, losing 3-0, 4-0 every week. Not scored since Boxing Day and not won for 24 games straight now.
We are in Feb. and we could get officially relegated next Saturday. If not then it will be the week after when we play across town at Sheffield United

One club at a time, @John Gryphon , I have just donated one for a raffle at my local social club which is in similar straits. It being the closest bar to my house helped make that decision
