New stock suggestions

Right chaps, im after buying a new stock or 2 for my tikka t3x's, 223 and 243,
as much as i like the super varmint and the veil wideland stocks i have i was told a while ago there not ideal,
i currently have a mdt xrs on my 223 and its great, but as i was warned its not ideal for carrying and using in my blaser quad stick due to the flat bottom,
so im after something more of a stock than a chassis, something like a PSE but i cant be bothered with the 6 month wait, or the price, so something thats not silly money, and something accessible.
it will be for rabbits, fox, and the odd roe, and a bit of longish range gong bashing...............Go

Ok so I have the PSE ETAC on my 300wm..... buy once, cry once. They are not cheap but they are, in my opinion, absolutely a top tier item.

I've also had a GRS BiFrost. Nice stock, highly adjustable and my old 308 shot well from it.

iv had a pse e lite but due to an old dog bite on my hand /finger the trigger was a tad to far away, i recon a ETAC would work if a second-hand one came up,
never had a bifrost, worth a look, thanks

I don’t think there worth enough to bother selling mate. I was thinking of putting my 17 hmr in it as it also has the
Kalix Teknik CR-1 cheek raiser in it

Fair enough they're great risers aren't they. I'm planning on moving my Kalix over to a Veil Wideland stock once I get hold of one as well. I stupidly binned the drilling template after fitting it to my current stock though

What is actually wrong with your current stocks. I would imagine they work well with your Blaser sticks.
Most of the aftermarket stocks and chassis have a flat bottom forend.
I use the viperflex sticks which work well with flat forends.
If the rifles shoot well in the stocks you have I wouldn't bother changing.

I am an MDT man through and though, however for a rough rifle i really like the GRS Tactical's... great stocks!

You've been told you "need" to change stocks. If you ignore that recommendation for a while, do you feel there is a problem with any of your stocks? What exactly is the problem you feel you have with your currents stocks?

I don't use the Blaser quad sticks, I use Viper Flex, but I have had zero issues shooting from my quad sticks with Tikka factory stocks.

Then again, the one T3 I have left sits in a KKC Hunter stock. The ergonomics on that stock are ideal for me and it helps handle the recoil of my 9.3x62 very well.

Pse etac on my t3x, transformed the rifle for me, got on well enough with the standard synthetic with adjustable comb, but the etac was instantly better fitting to me and made a noticeable difference when firing,
Really like a mcmillan a5,a3 etc A3 isn't to bulky compared to the a5

Anything GRS, please, as they are 'sitting' on my Bifrost order until the UK Importer (Highland Outdoors) is in a position to confirm a bulk order of a size they consider worthy of their attention!

Not happy at all with this Organisation's approach to sales/customer service so avoid them like the plague.

I've been looking at these, they look very good value and I like the interchangeable chassis, they told me they have a UK distributor but I've not seen them advertised.
