Hi; Coming to the end of a terrific 2 week RV road trip, just me and my son in North America. Been to Rushmore, the black hills, wyoming, Yellowstone, on the fringes of Montana, skirted Utah and now just heading back through Colorado to drop the RV. However en-route is the latest Cabela store, literally a few miles off highway 25 of which i will be heading down in around 12hrs. Hoping to pick up the S4 lock down bino harness, maybe a trail cam. Anything else that maybe a must have bargain whilst in what could arguably called the greatest hunting chain store in the US and beyond. Thanks in advance.

You lucky devil, that sounds like a great road trip, I love the rockies.
I picked up a rangefinder and trail cam when I went over.
You can always sell any excess when you come back.
Cheers

That wool suit is made by King of the Mountain and it is top stuff. Got a hooded snow cammo and a non hooded jacket. Warmer than anything available here. My mate got a few yards of the brown cammo sent over and P J Haggarts made him +4's and a cap.
But i don't wear it to Tescos!

Don't forget their "Bargain Cave".

Well said Klenchblaize check out the gun library or the bow range and the food in the stores is very good an Elk burger and chips was $4.
Enjoy you time but you will kiss 6 -7 hours away easy.

Now why can't we have a B&Q sized hunting store with such a "try before you buy" facility .....................................

Got to get over there before I need a quad bike to mooch about the woods!

You should have budgeted a trip up to Cheyenne, WY and then east to Sidney Nebraska where their headquarters is. It's huge. I went to there 35 years ago when it was a small mail order house, then drove past it last May on my way back from Kansas City. A monster Complex.

We have a Cabelas in the city but the prices are high. That said. The service at Cabelas is excellent and they will let me order catalog items to be picked up at the store, saving the pitfalls of rural private carriers.~Muir
