Starlight Arrow NV Demo Footage - Entry level £399.99 unit

That gives you the best of both worlds.

Our demo Mauser rifles for shows etc has a similar system.

As for pictures, i showed the Archer to show the way a DSA NV device extends eye position.

The production Arrow's will be on MTC Genesis riflescopes (P/A) on demo rifle so you can try positioning at the British Shooting Show.

I must just be a a fussy bugger then.
My rifles are set up to to suit me and the shooting I do, but I fancy a dabble at NV.
That said I will not compromise the setups I have just to plug NV on the back, adding a adjustable recoil pad is a step to far.
When I find a digital rear end add on that works as is I'll buy it.

Neil. :)

You dont fancy QD mounts on your day scope and a dedicated NV scope then ?

Thought about it, have qd on one rifle, but not the one I want the NV for.
It isn't a great option for CZ's, they look ungainly on the 527, and not really possible on the 452 rimmy.
(I have tried all the dovetail to weaver convertions but non work well on the CZ ⅜" dovetail)

I would say that picture is an archer/longbow or whatever its called and not the new arrow, talk about add confusion to the thread you start:D. Have a look on the starlight website, theres a computer generated image of the arrow

See post #21 and the light will hopefully dawn!

Cobra Optics - Orion Proâ„¢

Not quite in the same price range, however I have been lucky enough to use one of these and they are quite simply AMAZING!!!

As it is a front add on, no issues with eye relief on a recoiling rifle or zero shift. It is also very very quick and silent to attach to the front of your scope.

The one I used was branded Dedal, but when they are imported to the UK they are re-branded Cobra. They are considerably cheaper on the continent!!

Cheers

There is another rear end digital add on priced at £350 that was released to the public today.
No waiting, it is actually ready for sale, also claimed to work out to at least 200 yards

wards mini. you still have to buy the illumination and the clamp. sits to far back on the stock and has a solid eye piece. not good on a CF with kick.

You are gonna need IR with any add-on, that goes for gen3 Pvs14 and the likes. As for sitting back yip this is why i no longer use add-ons, i like dedicated scopes but they have there down sides.

The ward d vision is short and does not affect head position, but it's not £350 either.
The mini will affect head position, by how much is down to how you mount it.
As designed it is 110mm long, your eye to add on is designed to be zero to 35 mm, so probably not
a great idea on a CF with a bit of kick, I was looking for something for the .22lr and 22 hornet, so not an issue.
