Hi I have both and to be honest they both do the job the are design for good kit but no cheap

Myself and few mates use Nomad, smocks, quad rider and game coats, think its good enough. But another story of appalling customer service today, and to be honest it's a lot of money for something that could be designed better.

that bloke philip is not bothered about customer care it took over a year to get a pair of faulty trousers changed even though i went to shows where he was and had the exact same trousers forsale . SO lesson learned i will never buy nomad again.

I use the qaud rider smock, and the sallopets, usually only if I'm sitting out. Pretty good for what they are, to be honest you can pick holes in whatever clothing you choose.

ask phillip about how he took a double payment from me at a BDS night on my visa £189.05 and it took 2 months to get it back from him as he told visa service i had bought 2 sets of goods.
i confront him about his con at every gamefair i see him at
some customer service that is our region of BDS will never have him back

So you are not a fan RD. Lol

got the gnat net job'y ok if your up your way but a pain if down south hot yes, also have R,West hot hell yeh too hot go walking and you can save the the amount of sweat for drinking water !! good for a after xmas slimdown lol, i have found that with the R-west once you stop you cool down very fast to the point that you chill , i now just carry them and put them on once at the point i wish to stop. be better off with a good Gortex and warm inner.

I got a nomad smock for Christmas from the wife and wore it yesterday for the first time and the button came of the front pocket , must have had it on for all of ten minutes

good luck getting that fixed mate. one of my mates on here bought one. had a nightmare trying to get it fixed. we ended up taking it direct to them at the game fair

My half zip broke at three months old and Philip would only send it back to (china) i think but refused a replacement. He had a prototype long hoodless coat he was thinking of making and he lent me it to try out and after 5 months my QR came back but i bought the prototype coat and yet again it was miles better than the full production items. It seems to have a heavier matierial and a full length brass zip.

Sounds like the Game Shooter coat I had from them.

Ordered a slightly customised version at the Game Fair and it arrived on time in August.....but with one of the poppers missing on the lower pocket. Called them and emailed them repeatedly, but still waiting for the replacement popper to appear. Last week one of the gromets on the pocket drainage holes fell off. Emailed again, but not expecting any rapid response :(

Other than that the coat is nice - light, comfortable and waterproof. Just a shame their customer service lets them down.

The Swazi Tahr is a fine jacket. I've noticed, though, that the fabric on the inside edge of the collar is starting to wear, which is a bit disappointing.

I was out stalking this evening and went to take my keys out of the pocket and the pocket stitching came out as well .. I contacted the supplier and text him a picture and he is giving me a full refund . The most annoying thing is it was really comfy and was a present from the mrs
