I still have a good supply of the old eley subs which are super accurate in my sako quad.
I tried Winchester but they didn' group as well as the eley.
I also tried rws which were very accurate but I didn' think they had as much knockdown power as the eley or Winchester.

RWS subsonic for my BRNO. Excellent grouping and I found good killing power for any rabbits shot from the chest up to the head. Tried Winchester which as Palo says above were good when in the right place but seemed less accurate beyond about 40m for my rifle.

Thanks for the replies gents ,got my CZ452 today and so the trials begin this week ,Winchester,s CCi,s Fiochi subs and Eleys to begin with .A lot of you have your own "favourites" but these seem to be the most popular atb

Ran 20 of each, CCI segmented & recent batch Eley subs through my 452 today.
Both produced 5 shot groups at or under 1" at a measured 65yds.
CCI POI was perhaps ½" higher than that of the Eley's at that range.

Make sure you give the barrel a clean when you switch from one brand of ammo to another and fire a few fouling shots again before shooting for groups.
