There you go! The OP prolly got 2k pieces sitting in a box...😂
  2. 257 caliber

Ahh, talking too many cartridges.. For a Bob just neck up 6 rem brass, or is that not available either?

I have played with one, very simple, one pass on the die and load. IIRC was making 3100 with a berger 135 from 18" barrel. Rl23 for powder.

Yep, might be easier here to go 25x284 or 25 prc. More horsepower too.

    Parent case?
  7. 257 caliber

What's the ballistics on this, interesting....
  8. 257 caliber

Thats not gonna work, I'd suggest looking at some dimensional drawings.

It's pretty easy to make usable brass from 7 rem. mag. Just ends up a bit short on the neck, but serviceable.
  10. 257 caliber

Yep, same here. 3700 will leave you with good brass too.

Handloading can take it to next level. I have used both 100 solids @ near 3800 fps and 110 accubonds @ 3500. Brass be damned in a hunting load. 😂

I have 25 CM and 257 WBee, one is very precise, the other is marked "Meat Stik"...absolute death ray....

A simple search of "ELDM blowing up" will yield pages of results. A very common saying here is "Friends dont let Friends shoot hornady bullets. I had no intention of this this turning into a measuring contest, so please, carry on.

Im not that fortunate lol, when the throat starts to go I change em. Maybe its just me, I like to believe that when I miss or shoot poorly its my fault and not the tool. Perhaps we have different levels of what's acceptable. 🤷‍♂️

Hmm, I read that thread as most see degradation about 8 to 900 rnds which is inline with known competitors. Hell, I pull my 6cm barrels @1k rnds because of the constant load tuning required once the throat starts to go. Barrels are cheaper than components. Best of luck, and good shooting!
