Klenchblaize - good point about parallex adjustment. Duralyt is fixed parallex at 100m. Presumably this is also issue if wishing to fit a nightvision adapter where parallex adjustment is needed for focus.... Will have to restrict my NV adapter for my airgun (Rapid 7 FAC), the gun I use it most...

Am about to buy a Zeiss Duralyt 3-12x50 IR to put on my Anschutz .17hmr. Is this overkill..? It is a big investment for a rimfire, but they are such great scopes. IR because I do a lot of rabbit lamping at night. Am struggling to find anything that comes close to the Duralyt at lower cost...
