Well it works! 73meters out of the landing window while the kids were sleeping. The loudest noise was the impact, which I can only describe as how I imagine slapping tiled wall with a large trout would sound…
The dnt Zulus also was perfect. Clear night vision, press for range, aim the new zero...
I reckon the extra weight and better bullet design would have made the difference and it would have gone through the rib into the vitals. 6.5cm and ELDX is a pretty proven paring.
I guess the thing that surprised the most is that after inspection is it wasn’t actually a fatal wound.
I’m going...
Personally I agree with applying for a “slot” but If you are Replacing a rifle within that same slot then the transfer should just be digitally reported like a shot gun. There is no additional risk to public safety. It’s just a waste of effort and damaging to the gun trade.

Hornady website is a 200yard zero. I used a 100m zero with the bc and velocity from the Hornady website.

Bullets do not always leave the barrel perfectly stable. They often exit with a slight wobble or "yaw".
Initial Wobble: At 100 m, the bullet may still be oscillating around its center of gravity. This yaw can cause slightly larger...
This is probably way too late but maybe helpful for others:
My experience was if you don’t mind the wait Dave Wylde at Valkyrie Rifles built me a very accurate gun with lots of his own modifications on off the shelf parts and some custom parts but not traditional and slow.
Patrick Croft...
