  1. CCR-UK cheek riser - no response after sending funds

Just a quick update on this - CCR-UK has now got back to me with an apology for the delay and have provided proof of postage for the cheek riser, expected to arrive today. Fingers crossed all well.
  2. CCR-UK cheek riser - no response after sending funds

Will keep chasing, but if no answer soon will have to call it a day. Thankfully only £35 down the drain and paid via PayPal so might be able to get it back. It's a shame as I was really looking forward to using it!
  3. CCR-UK cheek riser - no response after sending funds

Hi All, Does anyone have any way of contacting CCR-UK other than via Facebook ? I ordered a cheek riser on 7 March and they noted safe receipt of funds same day. However nothing received yet and have chased 3 times with no reply...… Many thanks in advance, Ben.
  4. Gun laws daily telegraph

I agree with this. Having an online system where you can quickly check the details of the licence online via a portal - just like they do with driving licences now (View or share your driving licence information) - would be a really positive step forward and allow all sellers to be able to...
  5. Copper and internal deflections

I don't do anything like as much shooting as some on here (and not as much as I would like!) but the only time I've had a really bad internal ricochet was with copper on a broadside muntjac at 100 yards. Entered as a solid heart-lung shot, exited just in front of the hind leg. I was pleased...
  6. Which Knife?

A little late to the party, but would second the above. I have one of Snake's knives and they are great value, very well made and I can get it very, very sharp! Lovely guy to deal with as well.
  7. New rifle, new calibre and a variation.

I agonised about my "big" rifle for months but ultimately went with a Tikka T3x in .308 (I went with the wood stock as I didn't like the plastic one). There is a reason the T3x is so popular - it's accurate, reliable and they doesn't cost the earth. They are a step up from the cheaper end of...

All sorted now - thanks all!
  9. Wanted: Cheap scope for 22LR

There are loads of eBay, but would much rather buy from here and get something I know should work.
  10. Wanted: Cheap scope for 22LR

Hi All, Looking for a (very) cheap scope to try out a .22LR that's been sat in the cabinet for a while. Currently have 1" rings on it so that would make life easier. Anyone got anything suitable I could take off their hands? Ideally under £50 all in as will likely upgrade if the rifle shoots...
  11. Accurate small calibre.

I bought a second hand Sauer 223 for around £500 a few years ago. Very accurate, ammo available in most places and cheap to feed. I use it for target shooting at the moment but can't think of much better for foxes.
  12. Kipplauf recommendations

I have a Haenel Jaeger 9 in 308 with removable scope mounts etc. which I understand is essentially a K3. A lovely gun to handle, very light and accurate, but being so light and due to the stock shape the recoil is significantly more than my T3x in the same calibre (have been given a sore...
