  1. Tikka t3x 6.5 x 55 ammunition recommendation

My Tikka 6.5x55, as did others, worked well with Geco lead ammo. I think 156gr. Really cheap and good accuracy. As to nontoxic I home load the Sako blades and they work well. As to factory I would think Sako would be my first choice
  2. Possible fraud has anyone else dealt with this chap.

I’d also be wary of some on here. I sold some bullets a few years back, member claimed they never arrived. I issued a refund contacted PO who said it had been delivered. No response when I contacted the SD member. It is shameful how some behave but then I guess there have always been crooks
  3. Eggs

Make great lemon curd as well👍
  4. Eggs

The salty umami makes a difference and bits through the rich yolk. Kin ell I sound like matsterchef!!! It is bloody nice though
  5. Eggs

They call it marmite for a reason 🤭
  6. Eggs

Poached duck egg on marmite toast is the food of the gods
  7. Waiting Times

Since an event in the past we are not seen as a big entity and therefore our trade status has been affected. Unforeseen consequences of a protest vote I’m afraid.
  8. Affordable quality knife recommendations?

    As said already Mora
  9. RWS EVO GRENN, what type of gunpowder?

As said impossible to find out. If you have the data from the box you could run it through quick load and it will give you a few alternative close to the data. If you can access any if these give it a go. Probably best you can do
  10. Mauser M12 308 - Loading Barnes TTSX 130 Grn Length Off Lands

Exactly this. Load 3 and see what happens. From there you can change the load and chase a node once you find it if it’s not perfect adjust the seating depth in 5thou increments until it tightens
  11. 7mm lead free bullet recommendations, plz?

Barnes TTSX either 140gr or 150gr
  12. Big ears needed

We have in the past but at the moment all production is on hold. Life has thrown us a curve ball over the last year and continues to do so. Hence my trade membership has lapsed. If we get going in the future I’ll reinstate my trade status and put up an announcement. Cheers BE
  13. Question for the woodworkers - filling gaps in wooden table top

I guess you could not thought of that. The mixture I mentioned is what I was taught to used to make wood filler prior to French polishing. The antiseptic properties of propolis might improve it. Good idea
  14. Question for the woodworkers - filling gaps in wooden table top

If you know a friendly beekeeper (we are all friendly!) then some raw beeswax (not ultra processed so it has some propolis in) mixed with some rosin and turps. This produces a sticky polish which if combined with sawdust will adhere to anything. Clean out the gaps as well you can, I’d use 0000...
  15. Wanted: Guided stalk near Exeter/Dartmoor 23-26th July
