Does anyone have a S&L in 308 that uses factory ammo? If so what, are you using.

Im about to take the plunge and buy a new 308 in left hand and have option of these 2 rifles. Has anyone used either and have any good advice on the 2?

I've got the Crispi Nevada GTX. I've had Meindl, Hanwag, Altberg and Le Chameau before and in my opinion the Crispi's are by far the best. Comfortable straight out of the box. I'm normally a 10 but went for a 10.5.

I Have Hanwags. Great boots but they squeak like hell. Been looked after well, and tried everything but still the same. Talcum powder, leather treated, eyelets checked. Be as well blowing a horn when I’m out stalking. Just use them now for dog walking

Does anyone have an R8 in 243 and if so what factory loads are you using. So far I’ve found 100g Sako Gamehead the best. It doesn’t seem to like Federal Powershok in 100g or Hornady SST in 75g.

Have the places been taken? I’m a novice and don’t have my DSC1 but am working towards it now and booked for beginning of February. Probably not enough experience but thought I’d check.
