I bought a trigger Spring kit for x bolt comes with 2&3 lb Spring I got it fron brownells

ive used these in 6.5x284 for reds they seem to work well

I was running them at 2950 fts in6.5x284 24" barrel unless you hit a front shoulder either quartering in or out on body shot they will not expand,this has happened on red and fallow. a rib will not expand these bullets . Brilliant for deer park work where head shooting they work great,

Been there got the shirt ,if your going to use vld's for hunting make sure you got a really good tracking dog you are going to need it .

Vld hunting are very accurate but they don't expand on deer . Stick with the Sst ,

Have used 130gr vld hunting very accurate but would not use on deer again no expansion unless you hit a shoulder. Switched to nosler 120 ballistic tip hunting in 6.5x284 never had any trouble with them.

I used to get good accuracy from my 257 Roberts while fire forming

Why not put put tet 20 moa rail on .i have a T h t Unimount 20 moa on my rifle work . Nice bit of kit
