    I had a superb spaniel who won second place in the pick-up at Tatton Park Game Fair and then her daughter won second place in the pick-up at the first Harewood Game fair a few years later. Wonderful dogs!!!! Wonderful memories. You can drive a horse to water but a pencil must be lead.

  12. Goose killer lurking in London waterways........

    Zander are Pike/Perch hybrid and grow large and aggressive though not as big as pike usually. I would expect a 30 lb. pike to have a go at a goose, they regularly clean out a whole family of mallard including parents. Brianm
