i thought it had .30 but its stamped .260

Hi all, Probably a stupid question, but here goes. ive just bought a Tikka .270 and i was 100% sure my mod on my current .243 was a .30 cal and would be ok as its the same thread.... however on the mod it says both 6.5x55 and .260 not sure if it makes a differences but its a roedale. i assume...
