  1. Alpex Pro Recording

Having bought the Alpex Pro and took it out for the first time last night, I noticed the recoil activated recording doesn't trigger on a 22LR - anyone else had success?

  4. Recommendations for purchase of Alpex Pro

The reviews suggest the pro has the edge and there's not much in it. It arrives tomorrow
  5. Recommendations for purchase of Alpex Pro

Good call on uttings, used them a few times before and forgot all about them selling optics
  6. Recommendations for purchase of Alpex Pro

Anyone got a recommended supplier for the Alpex Pro or am I better off just using google....?
  7. Adjustable IR torch mount.

Do the Burris rings allow for some adjustment to zero the torch beam to a set distance?
  8. Vehicle door rifle rest

I made this for my old Frontera, and it also fits a Defender and a Shogun. Gave a really wide angle to shoot, probably about 170° effectively and it misses the mirror. I added a strap to the suction cup which attaches to the bottom of the door and keeps it rock solid. I need to make a new one...
  9. Braving the rain on the rabbits tonight

I picked up a semi auto a few weeks ago so I'm going to see how that performs on the bunnies tonight rather than the bolt action. We used HV rounds last time and the report into the car through the ejection port was unbearable. Subs tonight and a new Hawke 22LR scope with distance markings on...
  10. Rabbits

I've got a couple of GC to look after and when I first started I could knock over 60 bunnies a night, twice a month. Their numbers soon dwindled and I think I'm a victim of my own success. I'm lucky if I get 5 now. Greenkeepers are happy though.
  11. Combination FL Size and Trim Tool

I have a Hornady cam lock trimmer and it's absolute class.
  12. Sierra .308 165 grain HPBT

Never used that tool, I use what gets me the most accurate grouping at my range. I'm not that far into my reloading journey to be as scientific as using a tool, I only use the bullet manufacturers load data. My RFD recommended the powder as I couldn't get N140
  13. Sierra .308 165 grain HPBT

I've got these Sierra heads and I use N540 at 41gr. Certainly got some go to them and nice and accurate through a TAC A1
  14. Safe disposal

WD40 and oil, water etc will not kill a primer with enough certainty to know it's safe. There are loads of US forum posts saying they have tried to deactivate them with such methods and then they still fire. Especially when the wd40 etc has eventually evaporated. I'd be inclined to do as...
