Yes, looks good to me. The trigger guard, while being polymer, has built in steel washers which you can see when the bolts are removed. That said, I stick to 35 inch pounds even though the book says 50 or maybe even 60.
Bingo!:) As I said, no need for the lug but if you want to re-visit it sometime later after you have shot it a few times then all well and good. On the other hand, as I am often reminded, just shoot the thing! :)
PS Run a fiver up and round between the barrel and the stock sides, if the fiver...
I don't know your level of expertise going further and I cannot suggest anything else really but believe me, something is not right. Not wishing to cast aspertions but after so many attempts maybe letting a gunsmith have a look or the shop where it was bought might be the best course of action...
Look closely at WM Powells photos of the action and compare them to yours, especially on the bolt release side. Your action is running up towards the muzzle and there's a reason for that. I'll wager that if you remove the recoil lug the action will sit lower straight away, it's just a matter of...
Sorry but it doesn't look right to me, like the recoil lug has not seated itself properly in the action recess. Look at the photos here;

This is what I do with my CZ455 with a Minox 2-7x35 zeroed at 55 yards with known real world drops and rises at 10 yard increments.
Leaving the turrets alone I simply range the target, mentally consult the drop information and use this to aim over/ under the target using the target size as a...
Watching with interest. I'm in a similar situation. For context, whilst chrono'ing Hornady V-Max and Federal Premium Speer today I was finding that the Hornady were 150 to 200 fps under book and the Federal were 175 to 200 over book, both 30grn and through a CZ457 21" barrel. Today the Federals...
The Classic adaptor "should" come with a piece of very tacky double sided tape that is cut to fit the gasket which, when used between the gasket and the stock, overcomes this problem. If you don't have one to hand then a quick call to Spartan should have you sorted. Another thing is to mount the...
