Resurrecting this thread to ask if anyone has used on of these for stalking, particularly interested in low light performance Thanks.

I use an Austrian army jacket for stalking and walking the dogs, I have the long back version. Very comfy, completely waterproof, warm and big pockets. Would highly recommend, best jacket I have owned.

I have a cz 527 in 22 hornet that I may part with, it's done less than 250 rounds and is very accurate but just doesn't get used.

My dad's 308 is a 16 inch barrel and that's shoots unbelievably accurately. I would happily have one with a barrel this short.

Hi, not wanting to hijack the thread but is there a 30 cal tipped in the pipeline at all? These look like great bullets but my 243 doesn't have a fast enough twist so only leaves 308 for me. Thanks

Hi Mac, I would suggest the delta titanium 2.5-15x56 would do everything you want. I will be very clear in the lamp, it's night vision compatible and as an added bonus it's very competent at low light and makes a brilliant stalking scope too. As you are putting it on a 243 this one scope could...

Of the rifles you have listed there I would go for a sako 75 personally, had one in the past and they are great rifles, shouldn't be a problem to rebarrel if it was even needed.

It would depend on what's available ammo wise near you or if you homeload. If factory ammo I would probably go for, 17hmr or 17 hornet if available, the hornet would be my preference. This covers rabbits and closer foxes. 308 would be my choice for everything else if factory ammo is the option...

I have the 2.5-15x56 titanium HD and its brilliant, very good in low light, I have put the ballistic turret on and that tracks perfectly and returns to zero, picture is clear nothing not to like for me, great bit of kit.
