Well, this stuff you can easily squeeze but I think it's been degraded by oil over time and the structure has collapsed. If you're using a hard compound maybe just go 0.1/0.2mm oversize on the shaft, as it has to press fit into a 7.5mm hole. I'll DM you my address and get your bank details...

One thing One thing I will say about the Remington is that even on rabbit they shatter leaving pieces of lead all over the place. They make a right mess!
