Yes Dom does all my work, he is going to rebarrel it for me in the next few weeks. Had him bed it for me before. Very experienced and a gent to deal with. Can’t get my head around their new recoil and bedding strategy either. Would save so many issues down the line, like you say if they done it...

Thanks again for the great words edi. They all have their problems. I understand like all rifles and manufacturers there are bound to be the odd one that slips through the net for whatever reason. That does not do exactly what it is suppose to. I am not expecting perfection. just disappointed...

🤣🤣 Definitely not the same quality as was in the older Sakos. That’s For sure. An old Sako like a 75, was a rifle for life. The same can’t be said these days, the 85 does not live upto the sakos of the past, in my opinion. Once bitten, twice shy... 😬

My barrel also looks like it’s done twenty seasons and has only done 1 full season and 2 months of the first season I got it. 😬😩 Disappointing considering my fathers in laws Sako 75 in .270 was 15/20 years old and still looked like new when He sold it this year. Quality not there anymore.

Same issue here consistency was never there but has really dropped off now. I have really tested it out to the max with the virus and having the time to do so. I have used this rifle but definitely used it but didn’t abuse it. Regularly cleaned and well looked after. Never had any problems like...

Shooting off bags, Bipod and bags. Every scenario. Nothing bring consistency. Can shoot better groups with my Sako quad .17hmr.
