  1. Fitting s cabinet to timber frame house

perhaps a huge safe that takes a number of people to lift and a bolt or two to floor?
  2. Control of stags eating hay fields

I’ve a herd of fallow eating my neighbours grass in a field I can see from the kitchen window, very shootable but out of season here. Neighbours are getting passed off with the grass loss and asked me what can I do. All I could say was wait 6 weeks and I’ll sort-Murphy’s law is they’ll be gone...
  3. The Shogun Lives

R I've had 140kg off road with no issue, rated to 90 though :)
  4. The Shogun Lives

As donkey basher said above, a hitch mounted tray is the best option, have been using a Heckpack tray for a few years. Ideal for anything up to and including fallow and keeps the jeep from stinking! I bought a pickup now as shoot reds :) It might also be worth doing the transfer and diff oils...
  5. Glos Police Authority and cabinet fixings, latest advice and experience. Please read if in Glos area.

Nonsense really when a battery powered grinder with cutting disc would cut open any cabinet in 5min. I do also use chemical anchor, far easier and solid.
  6. Hardox AR 500 damage.

I’ve found the Temu plates stand up well to heavy 243 sp, 7x57 and also heavy sp 223
  7. Renewed love for the .243

Great round on anything from fallow down, inherently accurate and pleasant to shoot :)
  8. Private shooting diary app - testers wanted

    Happy to test iOS version
  9. Electricians- advice

Yep, didn’t fry in the shower this morning :)
  10. Electricians- advice

Neighbour lost power too. Electric was off for half an hour. We are quite rural and it coincided with a period of heavy rain-perhaps this caused it. Thanks to all who replied and have allayed my fears!
  11. Electricians- advice

8kw I think. As I said I’ve no clue with electrics :) I didn’t think was shower but coincidence is odd, I assume from your responses that it’s not possible for a shower pulling that to trip a breaker on the grid but the house breakers remain untripped.
  12. Electricians- advice

Not great with electric so asking for advice from those in the know. Last week whilst using the electric shower the house and electric on my road all went off for a few hours, no breaker tripped in my house. This morning having a shower the lights flickered then went off then on then off...
  13. Making memories fishing with my boy

Great write up, just like you I bought a cheap pole (far easier than a rod for a 4 year old) and brought my son fishing, he’s caught a couple of roach and is interested in it for an hour or so. I’ve taken him stalking too, let my pal take a shot and we then walked in to recover the carcass, all...
  14. Barbour

Classic jackets, had one as a teen, then a Swandri that my father brought me back from NZ. Neither really kept me dry, but at least the Swandri kept me warm due to the wool lining. Much prefer modern materials for shooting, though I confess to owning a quilted Barbour jacket for pub visits :)
