Old thread but wanted to comment because I’ve just chronographed a 10 shot string .243 Sako Gamehead 100grains with an average velocity of 2,760fps. / 20 inch Tikka T3, chronograph 10 feet away from muzzle and mod. Box is just a guide with muzzle velocity at 2,969fps (24’’).

Needs a 7RM or 300 action so barrel issue s prevent that
