Yes you can, "no tripods, to be used" as a rule would prohibit it all.
Also, max all up weight would do that too.
It's your comp, do as you see fit, but to say that you can't limit things is wrong.
Surely a rifle slung on a shoulder, carried in one hand is a low threat that doesn't need an gun aimed at the first interaction. It's not like there is a risk from a bomb vest. A low ready will still be quick enough without being so confrontational from the get go.
Going by some of the logic...
Solid slugs are like big 22lr and the associated ricochet potential.
I carried one for polar bear protection because I can run the gun fast and the target would be approaching in a straight line at close range. And pretty much no risk from ricochets due to the remote nature of where I was.
