I did mine with rubbing alcohol and a brass wire brush. Not sticky any more.

From (nasty) personal experience, make sure the gunsmith you choose has tooling to deal with such a small action. I had a CZ ruined when the old barrel was removed and the Smith couldn't machine the burrs off - as it wouldn't fit a Remington jig. I did look at a different Smith for remedial...

I sorted a Sako A7 out with rubbing alcohol (IPA) spray and a brass / bronze brush.

I have one. Based on a fat bolt, with a plate extractor in the upper right lug. I believe Cadex 7 stars are also available (via Highland Outdoors). Their bolt is thinner / lighter and uses a "sako" style extractor.

Yeah. Bought it New around 1989 or 90 - when it was perfectly legal to put 7 2" Eley Fourtens in it for ratting - but had to have it crimped to 3 shot to remain a shotgun in the eyes of the law.
