I met Toms dad, Sean, last weekend. He’s a smashing chap with some very impressive mounts in his workshop. PM me J D-C if you need his contact details.
Same here in July. They were using the name of a legit firearms dealer in Suffolk & sent me a photo of their FAC which tied up with online addresses etc but it was obviously a scam so I reported to Guntrader who blocked them, not for good though by the sounds of it.
I’ve got the T3X SV which is a great rifle.
Have you handled one to see how it feels to you given your comment about the B14 being front heavy as the SV barrel is heavy.
Wouldn’t be the rifle I pull put the cabinet to climb a hill with either to be fair!
I’ve got the DPT moderator which for...
Best bet for getting it right is fit the rail then position the scope on two stacks of pennies until you’re at the height you want then measure the mount height from your pennny pile. He says having assumed what height is right & sent a set of mounts back then checked how to do it on YouTube!
A friend of mine has a garden bordering a farm with a rabbit warren on the boundary that is getting out of control.
Can anyone recommend a ferrreter in the area who may be interested in going in & dealing with the rabbits?
Please PM me thanks.
i bought this rifle in 20 inch barrel for high seat shooting where low recoil & seeing the bullet strike is more important than considerations of what it’s like to carry.
Pros - compact, low recoil & civilised to shoot, accurate, decent action, stainless barrel + plastic stock = weather...
There’s a list on the website & there appears to be an impressive selection of exhibitors.
I’ll be popping up to have a look - I’ve stalked with Foxy, who's behind this show, in Scotland & he’s a damn fine bloke so it’ll be good to see him again & have a mooch around the stalls & support our sport.
DPT mods are a good compromise weight, length (they area reflex design) & sound moderation & aren‘t overly expensive. Plus you can buy a separate stainless blast baffle which may be useful to minimise damage as you’re planning to use on the range.
Same here, just swapped to Ikea Ladda AAs for the thermal & they are brilliant. Previously used eneloops & the Laddas last much longer. Link to batteries & chargers….decent price too.
