If I’m honest that was the first Tikka I had a Timney trigger fitted to and I can’t remember if it locked the bolt but it was a Tikka specific model so I’m sure it would have. The Timney website might confirm that and it was the 430 model.

Not a real comparison because the Timney was a 2 stage trigger but as good as Tikka triggers are the quality of a Timney is really obvious in any rifle. Sorry if that isn’t helpful but if you are considering buying a Timney I’d say 100% worth the money!
