I've never used a Lee Loader, but as a "way in" they seem to be very highly regarded, especially amongst our colonial cousins. Good choice on the calibre, I know of several Germans and at least one Brit who swear by it.
Hi Harry, Thanks for the update & I'm pleased you are happy with your purchase. I've been following the various threads about moderators over the past few months and it seems there is a move to these lightweight modular designs. Your decision to buy the A-Tec is probably wise considering the general comments about Roedale / Sportman customer service (or lack of!). I've had a really busy few months so haven't been out with the rifle at all. However, I am due to collect rifle from my riflesmith (Patrick Croft) this Saturday. It's been freefloated & bedded and a new butt pad fitted to give me a bit more length of pull. Going to check the grouping, zero & then go for an evening stalk. I've not been over to Suffolk of late but when I am next due I will let you know and see if we can meet up. Through the generosity of another SD member I've just acquired a Lee Loader in my chosen calibre (7x57) so reloading beckons. ATB, Jim
