When I have to renew again I will be 80.So if I am still able to renew I will write to GP 8 months prior asking them to release my medical records then send them to a 3rd party to complete the pro forma in due time for the process to work

I think they only issue an extension if your application is submitted 12 weeks before expiry

Using a 3rd party is ok but it still means you have to get your medical records released to the 3rd party.The GP is duty bound to do this . However took my GP 10 weeks to send mine to the 3rd party and just did not give a f--k he was breaking the law .The practice admin would not even speak to...

Had one in forest in the borders for several years without any bother . Moved it to a farm in Northumberland and after 2 weeks was destroyed bt Storm Ali. Cost me £500.00 to have it removed . Needed to have been chained down i guess

You are right but if they dont send them then you have to make a complaint to some governing body and the GP responds with excuses .In my case he just did not respond .I could not get any help from the manager and they refused to speak or answer my e mails .Just being awkward

Me to but took docs 11 weeks to send my records to them. Charged me £60.00 and doc wanted £200.00
