@Dave-G Thank you for explaining. I understand that by “very low resolution” you were referring to the mobile app capability, rather than the scope itself. The best way to record video will be directly through the scope, then download the video files to a laptop using the supplied cable.

No, N4 takes the image shown on the microdisplay and projects it out as a parallel, afocal beam, so the day scope can view it as if it were a distant target scene. Nice and budget solution is on the way.
