  1. The seven mm itch

;)No other reason needed John. I love my 30-06, but that probably going to serve you equally as well as the 7mm Rem Mag, except at extreme distance. But who hunts at that distance anyway.
  2. thoughts on a 260rem?

You can get a pack of the 140g Remington Core Lokts for 76AUD. Very pricey but they are generally available. Are you in Adelaide?
  3. .222 for foxes

Can't go wrong with a good old Sako L461 in 222. Dunno what everyone else has said and this is an old thread, but they are lasers. Great for the dogs here in Oz.

  5. Scott rea does it again

https://youtu.be/cMTKXPyLBz8 This one on deboning a rabbit. Wicked good.
  6. Easy roe fillet in bramble sauce

Sounds yum! I do a similar recipe with pomegranate syrup. You can add some fresh pomegranate when in season as well
  7. Food Processor

I use a bamix stick blender for pretty much everything. You can get a smallish food processor attachment for the bottom as a package when you purchase. It's probably the only thing I couldn't live without. Might suit your needs?
  8. New 6.5x47 Lapua

Looks great but I can't see your groups yet :)
  9. Scott rea does it again

Slowly working my way through it :)
  10. .22 Hornet, .222 or .223 for foxing

Yes particularly when the Sako L461 vixen can be found fairly easily in both calibres:-P lots of chat here. What's the final decision?
  11. New Rifle - What Calibre??

Curious OP did you buy anything yet?
  12. 6.5x47 vs 6.5x55

  13. .243 rifle scope

Check out Meopta mate. The make great glass for the price. Very comparable and sometimes better than Swaro :)
  14. 416 Remington - 400gr or 450gr?

I'm looking at some shooting soon around east Gipps. Looking forward to it.. For a moment there I took your post as meaning all of vic and laughed at how incredibly informative it was, considering that is the size of the United Kingdom.. :)
  15. 6.5x47 vs 6.5x55

Thanks hybridfiat. What are you mainly shooting with the 6.5x55? Just targets or perhaps natives and vermin?
