Not appreciable difference between 6.5x284 either. Only advantage being you can get PRC brass where as last time I heard Lapua have stopped producing 6.5x284 so that might influence which way you go.

Another advocate for JB paste. Mechanical clean all day long over chemical. For what it’s worth I also listened to Bryan Litz once saying it’s the only method he uses.
I don’t understand why it would be difficult to justify possession of ballistic tips or any other polymer tipped bullet for that matter for use on a range?
