For me, I found the easiest way was to start off putting the bottom pin in, then the top pin, the one from which the clip pivots, I used a long screwdriver bit to put it into place whilst lining up the pin. It was fiddly, and took me a few attempts.

Thanks :P, perhaps I ought to add a little more then :) I started clay shooting at the start of this year, and really really enjoy it. I haven't shot any game or vermin as I haven't had the chance to, but hope to in the future :).
