Are you sure that it is the 6.5 Grendel? They now chamber the 6.5x47 Lapua in the Classic and the Victory. They also chamber the 6x45 in the Legacy but I have seen no info on a Grendel chambering.

Out of curiosity I pulled my Ruger M77 220 Swift (tang safety) from the safe and the trigger breakes at a very consistent 2lb 7oz. It is all original but I did lighten the pull weight many years ago by adjusting the screw on the trigger.

Back in October 2025 I received a price for a new S&L 60 cm 6,5x55 barrel and it was NZ$1800 including 15% GST which equates to around £770. Considering the extra freight to NZ I would expect our price to be more than what you have to pay in England.
