Hi all, for completeness and any future reference, i completed the online DSC1 training with BDS and attended an assessment day over the bank holiday weekend.

The online training was split into manageable lessons. This gave me the ability to drop in and out the course...
For completeness, practiced plinking in the garden and got used to sticks. On my assessment day we got a good bit of time to look at the target and become comfortable with the heart / lung shot area so was happy enough with that too.
Long as the short of it is I had no issues with the DSC test...

Wanted: DSC training manual. The spiral bound version or equivalent.
Wondered if anyone had one kicking about gathering dust that they don’t use. Happy to buy a new one but thought I’d try reuse one if available!

The Ridgeline smocks get a bad rep on here, but I have the pintail ghillie and rate it! It isn’t a jacket for the height of summer, but certainly not as hot as most would have you believe. The monsoons are very heavy and will boil you alive.
