    many thanks - i did have a sidewinder on it for a while and it was still similar drop difference. I agree with Stephentri above - it is probably only doing 2750 - 2900 fps - as this sort of velocity is talked about by some of the USA AR reloaders into 16'' barrels. I just need to find someone...

    Many thanks for the advice - i will give that a go. Yes it is plenty accurate - I only found out after buying it (as there is nothing marked on the barrel until you remove it - that it has a Bench rest quality barrel from Birgir Saemundsson from Iceland !

    i shoot anything from 50yds to 200 with a lot at 100 - 150 yds, I went for the 200yds zero as it seemed the best for MPBR but as you say it may be worth going the other way about it and try 100yds with + 1" and see what it does out to 200

    Many thanks for the help - the barrel is 16.5'' bull barrel and with a Laurence precision moderator. Scope to Bore is 2.5'' as it is a Wraith NV scope

    Hi, I am shooting Foxes with 223 - but have seen some issues with Zero / bullet drop - not as advised from Hornady or calculators. I am using Hornady factory loaded 55g V-MAX and on the box advise 3240 fps. - 200yd zero / 100 = +1.4'' The sight is 2.5'' above bore. I have it zero / set...

    Hi All, just joined - i am Sussex based, Gamekeeper on local shoot - mainly shoot vermin - 22, 17HMR, 223, Roe deer control 243 and have 45acp for HAD and assorted shotguns. We did not put down birds in 2020 but hope to this year :) The Wife breeds working Cockers.
