That was my thinking, it was annoying that when I applied the first time then my own doctor just marked no to all questions., although she did put down my condition, the medication i was on and that my condition was stable. I will just need to wait and see what happens I suppose.

She has stated on the back of the form which meds i am on for my heart and that my condition is stable also.

When i had the home visit the FEO was more than happy with my storage, gun cabinet and separate ammo safe. Everything else is fine it was just the lack of experience they had said was what reason they would be refusing my application

If you had read some of my previous comments you would have seen what I had done and provided with my application, i did an introduction to deer stalking course, paid stalks, range sessions and did my DSC 1 and all this information and receipts from all that was in along side my application...

I will give it a few months and get some more stalks and range time with the guide I am using then reapply and see what happens, so in the meantime I am just going to withdraw my application and when I go back in for my FAC application I will have a lot more of added information on it.

It would seem Police Scotland are equally as bad then mate. Morning I never thought to add my Deer Stalking guide as a contact, I am a member of BASC. So the firearms certificate can be based on paid stalks and not needing to have your own land, however this would be an added bonus if you did.

Yes that's what the last bit says mate. To withdraw it and get a refund, but if I don't it will be officially refused unless I appeal against it.

I know and guy who did the same amount of stalks as me and his DSC 1 at the same time and he got his FAC he's in England and im in Scotland so it just shows how different the police forces work.
