I am definitely still a newbie but learned a lot in the last couple of years. I would recommend a dedicated stalking rifle, getting it zeroed with decent soft point ammo (£25-35 a box) and stick with that.

Great to see this post still going. I have been stalking with my own rifle the last 18 months and have only been using Sako super hammerhead SP. Never missed a beat
